The story about Block2Job told by the founder, Thomas Czekala:
We originally developed Block2Job as a solution for the shortage of skilled workers in our own SME locations in Munich, Dresden, Braunschweig and Zurich as a better employee-referral tool. The tools on the market had not convinced us. Restriction to employees, only one-step recommendation chains and then also installing a software incl. maintenance effort and license fees was not the idea. Today, this can be done better with blockchain and browser apps.
With the open concept at Block2Job, now really everyone - including our "non-employees" like freelancers and network partners - can become a recommender. And multi-level means that even the recipient of a recommendation can recommend the job himself in his own network, i.e. to friends, acquaintances and family. This increases the reach of the job ad, and that's what counts.
We can also now add the recommendation function to all previous channels with the QR code and the hyperlink of each location. With the Block2Job QR code, even the print poster at the entrance has the previously missing bridge from analog to digital, including the recommendation program with finder's fee opportunity. Recruiters are relieved and get employees and recommenders in one go. It couldn't be simpler for everyone.
In the event that a bonus is offered for a successful recommendation of a suitable candidate, we guarantee the legally binding payment to the participating recommenders through the use of blockchain technology. Those who wish to do so remain completely anonymous. The fear of being caught between two stools as a recommender is thus eliminated."
